Brooklyn Waterfront Live Art. Verboten invited us for live artwork at their Brooklyn Waterfront Series. The party is called “Stage One” and featured Luciano & Carl Craig last month. In collaboration with Lofty Goals NYC (RIP Jeffrey Gamblero), we painted a “BKLYN” piece in the style of the Verboten logo. We also painted the view of the NYC skyline and the Williamsburg bridge from where we stood. We had a ton of people stopping by to take photos and it’s always a great time painting live at parties and events! Check out some photos of the mural and also the party below:
Check the metallic fades in the Brooklyn letters. Two layers represent New York City, darker in the foreground and lighter in the back. The sunset fade completes the layout behind the floating Brooklyn branding. We also can’t forget the Verboten tag on the bottom right.
Check out the action shots of our artists.
Be on the look out for Verboten as they are opening a new “Mega Dance Club” in Williamsburg, Brooklyn this year near Output and the Wythe Hotel.
