If you want to get customers’ attention, tee shirt graffiti is the way to go!
True Religion wanted to launch their new store opening in North Carolina at the Concord Mills Mall. Because they wanted to drive foot traffic, we teamed up with them to create a customization pop-up shop. First, stationed our artist at the front of the store, driving attention to the brand in a new, hip and artsy way. Then, we offered custom shirts created live onsite directly in front of guests. Each guest chose 2-3 colors and one of two different designs. The result was a beautiful, original, branded graffiti shirt they could take home.
Our artist freestyled a background design of paint splatters and a color fade, utilizing a logo stencil or handwriting the words “True Religion” on each shirt. As you might expect, this customization event primarily utilized spray paint. That said, we also offered airbrush, markers, and hand-painted design customization.
Because the event sported incredible turnout and exceeded all expectations, the store manager couldn’t have been happier with the results. What a great way to drive retail traffic and allow guests to take some of the brand home with them!
“In 2002, True Religion emerged onto the Los Angeles denim scene by blowing up the construction of the classic five-pocket jean. Industry-standard sewing machines couldn’t handle our designs, so we broke them apart and rebuilt them to produce our one-of-a-kind vision. With its five-needle thread at two-stitch-per-inch process, our Super T stitch was instantly recognized for style that was unlike any other denim brand in the world.”
