At Graffiti USA, we offer events services for your next LA convention mural needs. For example, for this project we created another live convention mural for the Shea Moisture brand. Some of our previous collaborative work with them took place in NYC and Chicago as well.
This year’s event was called #BeautyConLA. It took place at The Reef in downtown Los Angeles. BeautyCon is the world’s premiere fashion, beauty, wellbeing & lifestyle destination. Two of our talented LA based graffiti artists created this large 8x20ft LA convention mural for Shea Moisture. We’ve already worked with the client in the past for convention mural events, so we already had a good grasp on the creative. Nonetheless, we worked collaboratively with their team through the creative process. Of course, we landed on an approved design fairly quickly.
Similarly, live painting has usually guaranteed to turn heads and draw extra attention in the past. Which was exactly the goal for Shea Moisture and this LA convention mural. I can say, we accomplished that goal!
As for the creative, we tied in iconic elements to the local area of Downtown Los Angeles and its skyline. Then, we included natural fruit elements and a color palette from their recent product line. Lastly, we added their iconic Shea Moisture logo.
Conference attendees watched two artists paint the Shea Moisture LA convention mural live. Then, they were able to pose with the mural as a photo booth background. Everyone visiting the booth was very excited about the opportunity! The LA convention mural for Shea Moisture was shared across many social media accounts.
