LA commissioned mural
We were excited to help our friends at Amwins. A leading global specialty insurance distributor, with their second mural for their new office in El Segundo. This California beachside city is near LAX. It is home to aerospace, tech and manufacturing companies. Our first opportunity working with Amwins was installing a home town themed mural for their new office in NOLA. This time around they asked for a custom mural for their large hallway. The wall that faces their employee pantry area. Knowing that this will be an Amwins training hub of the West Coast, we relied on the input from the Amwins employees to add their notable references to the mural design.
A map of Southern California is the focal point of the mural design. Of course, SoCal locations are highlighted along the South Bay coastline. A homage to a local landmark, the El Segundo water tower is front and center. Secondly, the mural is surrounded by the beach culture. People riding bikes and enjoying a day out surfing. El Segundo has it’s own nature reserve. Without a doubt we had to include the California Scrub Jay. Highlighted by monarch butterflies and vibrant poppies to the mural. This office is what many other West Region employees will see in addition to their own. We knew it was important that we make sure anyone visiting this training hub near and far feels right at home!
