DC Live Art Mural
Mandiant is an industry leading provider of cyber security software. They also host a conference called mWISE for their peers to meet and share progress, areas of worry, new focus and what is on the horizon for the technology. This year, the conference was in DC, at the Washington Hilton. (A location that lives in infamy due to the assignation attempt on Ronald Reagan here in March of 1981).
After the first round of creative, we found that one of our key designers own work aesthetic also represented key elements of Mandiant’s messaging. We pivoted, mid creative development, to the new designer and away from the simple zoned canvas we started with. The focus had originally been on creating areas that the attendees could mark with paint markers during the conference. The creative team at Mandiant just wanted something kinetic and cool, and we found it with them. This shift in direction became much more complex with transparencies and a lot more color, so the interactive, marker portion of the art happened mostly towards the end of the live window. Everybody signed, the crew on site had fun with the lighting, and we were able to get some great images. The DC Live Art Mural was a success!
