When the Golden Knights were heading to the Stanley Cup Finals 2018, the agency IMG Live reached out to have us help out. Above all, they needed help with a live graffiti mural for their T-Mobile pre-party event. Our Las Vegas graffiti artist, a Golden Knights fan himself, was thrilled to create artwork for a team he strongly supports. The resulting Las Vegas live art event turned out to be a very interactive experience for many fans and attendees!
Even though it was a rush job, we created artwork for a large 8x20ft canvas. The Golden Knights logo and slogan “Vegas Born” graced the Las Vegas sports mural’s left hand side. Because this was an interactive live art event, our artist tagged fans’ names directly onto the canvas. Fans also had the photo opportunity to pose next to their names, with the artist onsite.
The Stanley Cup Final had a huge turn out! Energy at an all-time high, and we here at Graffiti USA could feel it across the country. However, it was sad and unfortunate to see the Golden knights go home without the win. Here’s to next time! Vegas born, Vegas strong.
