Atlanta Mural Artist for Hire
Graffiti inspired mural in the Old 4th Ward neighborhood in Atlanta. The owners of a new townhouse contacted Graffiti Arts with a mural request. They were looking for a graffiti collage. The collage is inspired by the energy of the work on the Atlanta Beltline. We used the iconic walking loop to pull references specific to their shared sensibilities and experiences. The wall is relatively wide and lent itself to a downtown skyline. On top of which we then layered graffiti letters, logos, icons, tags, drips and splats.
Once we had the general layout and graphic references in place, all that was left was just getting the color family and wash tuned. Also, we knew to stay away from too much red (from our clients). The general goal was to create some pops of color in the light filled entry level space. We used poppy colors, with some contrast. You are going to have to imagine the TV install in the middle of the wall (can pick out the bracket in the images) and a furnished room for the finished look. Without a doubt, it was a pleasure to create a cool local Atlanta mural. A nice space, for great clients. Win Win.
